Repti Calcium® is an ultra-fine Precipitated Calcium Carbonate Supplement with Vitamin D3. It is a phosphorus-free calcium supplement for reptiles and amphibians. It has a unique shape/high surface area per gram resulting in increased calcium bio-availability.

Directions For Use

Insectivores – Place crickets in a plastic bag along with Repti Calcium and shake to dust crickets with the powder. Feed approximately 12 dusted crickets per week for every 2.5 oz (71 g) of body weight.

Herbivores – Add approximately 1/2 teaspoon Repti Calcium to food for every 5 oz (142 g) of body weight on a weekly basis.

Omnivores – Use either of the above methods as desired.

Can this be used for a Sulcata tortoise?

This can be added to kale for a tortoise. It’s recommended to add 1/2 teaspoon Repti Calcium to food for every 5 oz (142 g) of body weight on a weekly basis.

Can this be used for aquatic turtles?

This is suitable for use with Lizard, Snake, Tortoise, and Aquatic Turtle.

Can you use this for dumpy frogs?

This supplement is suitable for frogs as it is formulated specifically for reptiles and amphibians.

Do the crickets have to be alive ?

You can use the Repti Calcium with D3 on live or dead insects that you are feeding your animal.

This supplement is made with only ultrafine precipitated calcium carbonate to increase calcium absorption. It also has vitamin D3, known to benefit reptiles that spend most of their time indoors.
