Product Description

TruFel HC2PCh is a killed-virus, killed-Chlamydia vaccine for healthy cats 8 weeks of age or older. TruFel HC2PCh helps protect against feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia viruses, and helps reduce the severity of disease due to feline Chlamydia psittaci. The vaccine includes an additional calicivirus strain linked to a hemorrhagic outbreak to support broader calicivirus protection.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Killed feline rhinotracheitis virus, killed feline calicivirus (including an additional strain), killed feline panleukopenia virus, killed Chlamydia psittaci.

Inactive Ingredients: Thimerosal, neomycin, polymyxin B, amphotericin B (added as preservatives).

How to Use

Dosage & Administration Instructions/ Directions for Use

· Dose Chart: 1 mL per cat, subcutaneous injection.

Route and Dose: Inject one 1 mL dose subcutaneously using aseptic technique.

Primary Series: Administer two doses, 3–4 weeks apart, in healthy cats.

Young Kittens: If under 16 weeks, give the final dose no earlier than 16 weeks.

Maternal Antibodies: Maternal antibodies may interfere; additional boosters are often needed in young cats.

Revaccination Advice: Annual boosters need not be established; consult a veterinarian for frequency.

Precautions

Storage: Store in the dark at 2°C–8°C (35°F–46°F); avoid freezing.

Handling: Shake well before use and do not mix with other products.

Pregnancy: TruFel HC2PCh has not been tested in pregnant animals.

Emergency Care: If an anaphylactoid reaction occurs, administer epinephrine.
