Eight-Way Core and Lepto Protection

Product Description

Recombitek C8 (rDAPP-LCGIP) is an eight-way canine vaccine that provides core viral protection, as well as coverage for four-strain leptospirosis. Reconstitute the lyophilized cake with the Lepto diluent, then give 1 mL subcutaneously to healthy dogs 9 weeks and older, followed by a second 1 mL dose in 3-4 weeks. It helps protect against distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and LCGIP serovars.

Ingredients

Active ingredients: Recombinant canarypox vector expressing HA and F glycoproteins of canine distemper virus; modified live canine adenovirus type 2; modified live canine parainfluenza virus; modified live canine parvovirus; Leptospira bacterins: Canicola, Grippotyphosa, Icterohaemorrhagiae, Pomona.
Inactive ingredient / preservative: Gentamicin.

How to Use

Dosage & Administration Instructions

Reconstitute Aseptically: Rehydrate the lyophilized vaccine with the accompanying Lepto diluent, then gently agitate.

Dose Volume: Administer 1 mL (1 dose) subcutaneously into healthy dogs.

Starting Age: Use in healthy dogs 9 weeks of age and older.

Second Dose: Revaccinate with another 1 mL SQ dose 3-4 weeks after the initial dose.

Young-Dog Boosters: Maternal antibodies may interfere; additional boosters may be needed.

Precautions

Cold Storage: Store at 2-8°C (35-46°F); do not freeze.

No Chemical Sterilants: Do not use chemicals to sterilize syringes or needles.

No Product Mixing: Do not mix with other products except the labeled diluent.

Use Immediately: Use the entire contents right after reconstitution; discard any leftovers.

Pregnancy Caution: Not tested in pregnant animals; vaccinate only under veterinary guidance.
