Accurate Dosing Based on Weight: The syringe is calibrated in 50-pound increments, allowing precise dosing for horses up to 1500 lbs.

Important: Avoid underdosing. Administer the complete dose according to the animal’s current weight to ensure effective treatment and prevent parasite resistance.

Directions for Use

Set the Dose

Position the Syringe Correctly: Hold the syringe with the capped end left, ensuring the weight measurements and tick marks are visible.

Align Dial Ring with Animal’s Weight: Turn the white dial ring until it aligns with the animal’s weight, as shown in the diagram.

Use Tick Marks for Weight Adjustments: Each small black tick mark corresponds to 50 pounds of body weight for accurate dosing.

Give Quest Plus Equine Gel to a Horse or Pony

Ensure No Feed in Mouth: Before administering, make sure there is no feed in the horse’s mouth for effective dosing.

Remove the Syringe Cap: Take off the cap from the syringe’s end and keep it for reuse after administering.

Position Syringe in Animal’s Mouth: Place the syringe tip between the teeth, ensuring correct placement for effective gel administration.

Administer the Gel: Gently push the plunger until it stops, depositing the gel at the back of the tongue.

Encourage Swallowing: Remove the syringe and slightly raise the animal’s head to make sure the gel is swallowed.

Treat a Second Horse or Pony with the Same Syringe

Use Leftover Gel for Second Horse: If the first horse weighs less than 1500 lb, you can use remaining gel for another animal.

Adjust Dial for Accurate Dose: For a 500 lb horse after treating a 250 lb animal, adjust the dial to 750 lb.
