Dechra Malaseb Medicated Spray is a veterinary-formulated antimicrobial and antifungal spray for dogs, cats, and horses with skin conditions responsive to miconazole and/or chlorhexidine. Combining 2% chlorhexidine gluconate and 2% miconazole nitrate, it provides targeted antibacterial and antifungal action to manage dermatitis-causing microorganisms, degrease the skin, and remove scales. Enriched with essential fatty acids and Vitamin E, Malaseb Spray also supports skin barrier function and hydration between baths. Available in 8 oz. Made in the USA by Dechra Veterinary Products.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: 2% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate USP, 1.74% w/v Miconazole USP (equivalent to 2% w/v Miconazole Nitrate).

Inactive Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, SD Alcohol 3-C, Sodium Coco PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Acetic Acid, d-Alpha Tocopheryl Polyethylene Glycol Succinate (Vitamin E), Linoleamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate (Essential Fatty Acids).

How to Use

Directions for Use

Ventilated Area: Always use Malaseb Spray in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhalation during application.

Spray on Affected Area: Spray directly onto the affected area or areas 2 to 3 times daily, or as directed by your veterinarian.

Prevent Licking: Do not allow the animal to lick the treated areas until fully dry, as ingestion may lead to gastrointestinal or respiratory tract irritation.

Monitor and Report: Report all changes, whether positive or negative, in the condition of the skin and haircoat to your veterinarian to determine continued use.

Wash Hands: Wash hands thoroughly after each use of Malaseb Spray.
